I produced this illustration for Panda Meat: Source Book 1, a source book of many artists mostly working in the gig posters field.

I’m not real sure what the hell I was thinking with the color scheme on this, but I later refined and used it for a gig poster for the Unicorns.

Iron Sheik gives JYD the Camel Clutch art print

Posted by – November 27, 2009

I produced this print for an artist print exchange based on the theme of violence. I grew up with a healthy dose of Saturday morning wrestling as a kid, and the Iron Sheik was always a favorite. I had this illustration lying around and it felt perfect for the project.

This is an 8″ x 10″, 2 color silk-screened print. I designed and hand pulled the entire edition of 51.

Custom Toy Rocket Ship

Posted by – November 8, 2009

This is a toy rocket ship that I converted from a wooden bird house. Various mixed media was used to enhance the piece and create the vintage, weathered look through excessive riveting and paint effects.

I created this piece for display and auction in the Toys in the Attic art show. The annual Toys in the Attic event is both a toy drive and art show – featuring limited-edition, toy-inspired poster prints and custom-created toys. 100% of the door donations and toys collected go to The Marine Toys for Tots Foundation – along with 25% of art print and custom toy sales.

It’s a great cause put together by an art/design pal named Steve Tenebrini, and I’m really happy to be a part of the show.
