This was my first “large scale” watercolor painting. A bit of an experiment in working on a larger surface and trying to apply some of the techniques I’ve learned on a grander scale. Not entirely successful, but it turned out creepy and has some nice textures.
16 inches x 20 inches in customized frame.

I don’t do much web design these days outside of my own projects, but a few months ago, I helped a friend out by building a portfolio site for his tattoo work.
Sketch is a real talented guy. His portrait and realism work are top notch, and as we both share a love for traditional Japanese themes, he’s done some stuff for me in that regard. I’m hoping to get back in his chair soon, but in the meantime, check out his website. If you’re in Columbia, South Carolina and looking for a portrait or realistic subject matter, he’s the absolute best in town.
